Job Summary
Supporting the Clinical Access Revenue System department, the full-time Texas Licensed EHR Systems Analyst will serve as a liaison between end users and the EHR team, focusing on developing expertise in the Epic system, analyzing workflows, and optimizing system performance while working remotely within Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain Epic certification, adhering to standard operating procedures and quality control measures
- Implement and prioritize system changes, troubleshoot EHR components, and analyze configurations to enhance patient safety
- Provide technical support and facilitate issue resolution, collaborating with stakeholders to improve system functionality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical, healthcare IT, or relevant business experience
- Preferred: At least 3 years of experience in hospital billing or coding
- Ability to obtain EPIC certification within 180 days of hire
- Strong analytical and project management skills
