Texas Licensed Electrical Tester

Job Summary

Joining a multidisciplinary commissioning team, the contract Senior Instrument & Controls Technician will execute loop checks and ensure the verification of instrumented systems at gas and oil stabilization facilities while working remotely from Dallas, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Execute systematic loop checks for various instrumented loops, including analog and digital systems
• Simulate and inject process signals to verify transmission and indication across control systems
• Collaborate with control system engineers to verify alarm and trip setpoints, and test field device operations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instrumentation testing and electrical commissioning within the oil and gas industry
• Proven experience executing loop checks and device calibrations at gas plants or oil stabilization facilities
• Must be local to the Orla, TX area
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
