Job Summary

A company is looking for an Emergent Bilingual Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage a dedicated Google Classroom for Newcomer students
• Provide targeted academic support and facilitate TELPAS practice opportunities
• Collaborate with campus LPAC Administrators for meetings and maintain required LPAC records

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in education, bilingual education, ESL, or a related field
• A valid Texas teacher certification, possibly including ESL Supplemental or Bilingual Education certification
• Five or more years of experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of ELPS, TELPAS, and LPAC procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred
