Texas Licensed Energy Title Examiner
Job Summary
To support a growing energy project team, the remote Contract Texas Licensed Energy Title Examiner will conduct comprehensive title searches, resolve defects, and ensure property titles are clear for utility or construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive title searches and identify defects in property titles
- Provide support to energy teams by reviewing legal documents, mortgages, liens, and easements
- Assist in the preparation and review of instruments of conveyance and related documents for accuracy and completeness
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Landman/Energy Title Examiner or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Title Examiner or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Working knowledge of commercial and energy title processes
- Experience with industry-recognized title platforms, preferably RamQuest and Integrity Title Plant
