Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Texas Licensed Engineering Manager will oversee the development of applications and cloud infrastructure, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration in a hybrid or remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage individual contributors, including performance management and career development
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to align technical roadmaps with business opportunities
- Evaluate and implement enhancements to engineering standards, processes, and tools
Required qualifications
- A related degree or equivalent formal training and certification
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of cloud-native software development across mobile and backend systems
- Experience with modern web technologies and enterprise Ops tech stacks
- Proficiency in Lean and Agile methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement
