Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, English/Language Arts (9-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual lessons aligned with Texas State Standards for English Language Arts for grades 9-12
• Utilize various online teaching methodologies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress while providing individualized support

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field
• A valid teaching license in English for grades 6-12 or 7-12 with an endorsement in English as a Second Language
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience teaching a range of secondary English Language Arts courses
• Residency in the state of Texas is required
