Job Summary
To support the CAPPS Program, the remote contract Texas Licensed Enterprise Architect will provide architectural leadership, oversee technology operations, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards while managing a team and coordinating technical activities across various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the long-term technology vision aligns with CPA business goals and oversee architectural integrity across systems and platforms
- Lead the CAPPS Technology Operations team, prioritizing tasks, managing escalations, and driving innovation
- Ensure all digital products meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and maintain compliance through regular content reviews
Required qualifications
- 20 years of Texas public sector experience supporting a Texas state government agency
- 20 years of experience in technical activities related to CPA application systems
- 10 years of experience managing outsourced technical teams and overseeing a Managed Services provider
- 10 years of technical experience with PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2 and related technologies
- 10 years of experience with IT service desk functions and ITIL framework methodologies
