Texas Licensed Escrow Officer
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining an active Escrow License, the full-time Texas Licensed Escrow Officer will ensure compliance with Texas Department of Insurance regulations while reviewing documents, processing transactions, and communicating with legal and management teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain Escrow License and ensure compliance with TDI regulations
- Review commitments, T-64 affidavits, policies, deposits, and disbursements for accuracy and authorization
- Initiate wire transfers and print checks while monitoring audit-related correspondence
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Baccalaureate degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in the closing and/or funding department with a title or escrow company
- TX Escrow License and completion of on-site Management training preferred
- Experience utilizing ResWare or similar software preferred
- Strong customer service skills required
