Texas Licensed Evening Tutor

Job Summary

To support Texas Virtual Schools, the part-time hourly Certified Evening Tutor will deliver virtual instruction, assess student learning, and provide targeted academic support while effectively engaging students in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons and conduct live teaching sessions
• Assess student learning and complete grading accurately
• Communicate with students and families, ensuring proper documentation of services provided

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
• A valid, unrestricted teaching certificate in Texas is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in a remote environment
• 1-2 years of experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting
• Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
