Job Summary
Overseeing financial statement creation and reporting, the remote Texas Licensed Financial Reporting Manager will manage the monthly close process, lead audit coordination, and serve as a technical accounting resource while guiding a small team of accountants.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage monthly close, internal and external reporting, and the implementation of new accounting standards
- Coordinate internal and external reporting requirements and lead the annual audit process
- Maintain knowledge of GAAP and provide insights on financial performance to leadership
Required qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Four-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Experience in public accounting or a mix of public accounting and industry experience
- Graduate or advanced degree in Accounting or related field preferred
