Texas Licensed Fuel Industry Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fuel Trucking Industry Accountant to manage and reconcile financial operations across a network of internal companies and satellite offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial tracking of fuel purchases and transport activity using Fuel-Dash software
• Perform monthly reconciliation and cross-billing across 13+ satellite offices and internal companies
• Use QuickBooks Online to balance sheets and prepare profit & loss reports for banking and internal use

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the trucking or fuel industry
• Proficiency in Fuel-Dash (or similar fuel management platforms) and QuickBooks Online
• Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting, internal billing, and margin breakdowns
• Experience handling complex reconciliation involving multiple internal offices and stakeholders
• Comfortable with a hybrid schedule and able to manage time efficiently both in-office and remotely
