Job Summary
Serving as the primary legal advisor, the full-time Texas Licensed General Counsel will provide guidance on contracts, corporate governance, employment matters, and compliance while managing legal risks in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review customer and vendor agreements to identify legal and compliance risks, and advise on contract structures and modifications
- Support corporate transactions, governance requirements, and develop internal policies to ensure organizational compliance
- Advise on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with multi-state laws and managing workforce-related risks
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- 8+ years of legal experience in business law, corporate law, or employment law
- Strong understanding of contract review, risk assessment, and corporate governance
- Experience advising senior leadership on legal and business matters
