Job Summary
Leading critical aspects of the general ledger, the full-time Texas Licensed General Ledger Accountant will manage month-end close processes, perform financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and own complex journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Manage assigned areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide explanations to management
Required qualifications
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam, preferably pursuing or holding CPA licensure
- Demonstrated experience in either a public or private company setting
- Advanced technical accounting knowledge
- Ability to operate independently in a complex accounting environment
- Experience with ERP implementations and accounting transformations
