Job Summary
Leading a team of 10-12 employees, the full-time Texas Licensed Grants Manager will oversee day-to-day reporting tasks for sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing guidance to staff while working remotely with quarterly onsite meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee productivity and compliance for sponsored projects and staff performance
- Prepare financial and accounting reports while ensuring timely and compliant project closeouts
- Collaborate with Grants & Contracts Managers to streamline processes and address operational challenges
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Five years of professional experience in finance or accounting, including three years of supervisory or project management experience
- Preferred: CPA - Certified Public Accountant upon hire
- Knowledge of federal and state guidelines related to accounting principles and research administration
- Completion of LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for supervisory experience
