Texas Licensed HCC Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a temporary HCC Coder (CPC Certified).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HCC / Risk Adjustment coding reviews accurately and efficiently
• Apply ICD 10 CM and risk adjustment coding guidelines appropriately
• Review and code medical records using designated EMR platforms

Required Qualifications

• Active CPC certification (AAPC) - Apprenticeship (CPC A) credentials are not accepted
• 1-2 years of HCC / Risk Adjustment coding experience
• Experience working with EMR systems
• Strong knowledge of ICD 10 CM coding guidelines
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
