Job Summary
To support the compliance and privacy initiatives at Texas Oncology, the part-time Remote Entry-Level Healthcare Privacy Investigator will manage routine investigations, assist with data analysis and reporting, and coordinate departmental compliance activities while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage investigations of level 1 privacy violations and ensure accurate documentation
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting privacy-related metrics and data
- Coordinate compliance initiatives and promote understanding of compliance standards within the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare-related field, preferably in compliance or privacy
- Basic knowledge of privacy regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Professional certification(s) applicable to job responsibilities, such as CHC, is preferred
