Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hearing Representative who must reside in Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent claimants before Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) and argue cases for favorable outcomes
  • Write pre-hearing and post-hearing briefs as necessary
  • Evaluate claims for validity and meet company productivity standards
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school or EDPNA in good standing
  • Admission to practice law with a clean disciplinary record in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia if holding a JD
  • Minimum one year of experience representing claimants in SSD/SSI hearings
  • Experience in drafting On The Record Decisions (OTR) and briefs for the Appeals Council
  • Understanding of non-medical aspects of Social Security disability practice
