Job Summary
A company is looking for a Hearing Representative who must reside in Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent claimants before Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) and argue cases for favorable outcomes
- Write pre-hearing and post-hearing briefs as necessary
- Evaluate claims for validity and meet company productivity standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school or EDPNA in good standing
- Admission to practice law with a clean disciplinary record in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia if holding a JD
- Minimum one year of experience representing claimants in SSD/SSI hearings
- Experience in drafting On The Record Decisions (OTR) and briefs for the Appeals Council
- Understanding of non-medical aspects of Social Security disability practice
