Job Summary
Texas Licensed Hearing Representative provides full-time remote advocacy for individuals seeking disability benefits through the Social Security Administration, including case representation and claim development.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent claimants before Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) to argue cases for favorable outcomes
- Write pre-hearing and post-hearing briefs, and evaluate claims for validity
- Meet company productivity and performance standards while maintaining a professional demeanor
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school or EDPNA in good standing
- Admission to practice law with a clean disciplinary record if holding a JD
- Minimum one year of experience representing claimants in SSD/SSI hearings
- Experience in drafting On The Record Decisions (OTR) and briefs for the Appeals Council
- Understanding of non-medical aspects of Social Security disability practice
