Job Summary
To support a growing operations team, the full-time Texas Licensed High Voltage Project Manager will oversee high voltage substation and transmission renewable energy projects from pre-construction through commissioning, working remotely with some in-office requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Leads full-life cycle high voltage substation and transmission renewable energy system projects from conception to closeout
- Acts as the main Project Engineering & Commercial Leader for stakeholders, focusing on operational P&L management and project execution
- Develops and implements project timelines, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans while ensuring compliance and quality in project execution
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of Project Management experience in high voltage substation and transmission renewable energy systems
- Must hold an Engineering Degree and a Professional Engineering License (PE), preferably in Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Experience in full-life cycle Project Management, including commissioning and installation
- Strong background in contractor evaluation, financial management, and project scheduling using Primavera & MS Project
- Knowledge of technical and commercial elements related to substation and transmission-line specifications
