Job Summary
To support middle school learners, the part-time or full-time Texas Licensed Homeschool Instructor will design, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons in mathematics and literacy, fostering academic growth in a one-on-one or small-group environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning styles
- Deliver interactive lessons that integrate games, real-world examples, and writing exercises
- Administer assessments, track progress, and adjust instruction based on student needs
Required Qualifications
- Certified teacher OR at least 5 years of proven experience as a homeschool instructor
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated experience teaching middle school-aged students in Math and ELA
- Familiarity with adapting lessons for students with learning disabilities
- Creative, patient, and committed to ongoing professional development
