Job Summary
Leveraging extensive experience in Texas public sector HR/Payroll, the Senior CAPPS HR/Payroll Functional Analyst will provide advanced consultative services and Level 2 support for CAPPS, working in a hybrid environment to enhance statewide HR and Payroll operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver expert-level support for CAPPS HR/Payroll modules, leading system configuration and troubleshooting
- Oversee intake assessment and advanced troubleshooting for high-profile agencies while managing integrations and data integrity
- Guide and mentor junior analysts, deliver end-user training, and participate in major incident management and audit preparations
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of expertise in Texas public sector HR/Payroll operations and federal labor compliance
- 15+ years of technical proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects
- 12+ years of experience in complex system configurations and managing batch jobs
- 10+ years providing functional and technical support to large state networks
- Strong experience with PUM, Fluid UI, and WCAG 2.1-compliant documentation
