Texas Licensed HR-Payroll Consultant

Job Summary

Providing expert-level consultative and functional/technical support, the full-time Senior CAPPS HR-Payroll Functional & Technical Consultant will focus on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules, ensuring system integrity, compliance, and performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert-level functional and technical support for CAPPS HR/Payroll modules, including Workforce Administration and Payroll
• Serve as a primary point of contact for CAPPS agencies, delivering Tier 2 support and coordinating with Tier 3 managed services
• Lead functional design activities and ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of knowledge of federal labor laws and Texas state policies and regulations
• 15+ years of technical expertise in Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, and BI Publisher
• 12+ years of experience performing PeopleSoft system configuration changes
• 10+ years of experience supporting Texas public sector environments with multiple agencies
• 10+ years of CAPPS HR/Payroll (PeopleSoft HCM 9.2) support experience
