Job Summary
To support the CAPPS Program, the full-time Texas Licensed HR Specialist will provide advanced consultative services and functional assistance, focusing on HR expertise, system configuration, and compliance reporting, while working both onsite and remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced consultative services related to HR functions, including workforce administration and HR security setup
- Ensure compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and assist with functional configuration and auditing of HR systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide training and support for CAPPS HR/PY applications
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of extensive experience supporting the HR module in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2
- Extensive knowledge of State of Texas applicable policy and federal labor laws
- Experience preparing materials compliant with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
- Proven experience in functional project management activities related to CAPPS
- Strong understanding of data integration, data quality, and SDLC processes and methodologies
