Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior IBM Z Communications Programmer ALC Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain high-performance ALC code for a communications application
• Perform advanced diagnostics to resolve complex communications failures
• Develop and maintain JCL and REXX scripts for automation and monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an IBM Z Systems Programmer in high volume environments
• Expert proficiency in Assembler Language Code ALC BAL, particularly for communications protocols
• Deep understanding of IBM zArchitecture and z OS kernel operations
• Experience with advanced debugging tools and performance monitoring utilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred
