Job Summary
To support a growing immigration law firm, the full-time Removal Defense Associate Attorney will manage hearings, prepare motions, and handle complex humanitarian immigration cases, with a hybrid or remote work arrangement available.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients before the Immigration Court, including Master Calendar, Individual, and Bond Hearings
- Prepare and argue various motions, such as Motions to Terminate, Suppress, Reopen, and Stay Removal
- Develop case strategies and provide legal guidance while collaborating with paralegals and legal support staff
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (Texas license preferred)
- 3-5+ years of removal defense experience
- Experience appearing before Immigration Judges
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
