Texas Licensed Information System Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO).

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard government customers and provide support for their security needs, ensuring compliance and efficiency
• Implement security measures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Research and implement secure cloud technologies, managing migrations and collaborating with engineering teams

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly with Linux-based infrastructure and cloud platforms
• Background supporting DoD or Intelligence Community System Program Offices
• In-depth knowledge of cloud engineering principles and security controls
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
• DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) and ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance
