Job Summary
Leading the digital technology operations at MD Anderson, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Infrastructure Executive will oversee infrastructure engineering, cloud services, and data center management while ensuring the reliability and evolution of critical systems in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and continuously evolve the enterprise infrastructure and operations strategy aligned with MD Anderson's digital transformation roadmap
- Drive infrastructure modernization, including cloud-native architecture and hybrid cloud management, while evaluating and adopting emerging technologies
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities, ensuring institutional digital resilience and compliance with security standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex I&O organizations across multiple technical domains, including cloud and data center operations
- Experience managing significant capital and operating budgets, including cloud cost optimization and vendor negotiations
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and present compelling business cases
