Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Manager to oversee daily coding functions and promote teamwork and performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily functions for the assigned area of responsibility
• Lead and support process and performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure the coding team has the necessary education and tools for quality and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a closely related field
• 5 years of acute hospital-based coding experience
• Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPMA, CPC-H, CIRCC)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
