Texas Licensed Insider Threat Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Texas Licensed Insider Threat Analyst, this remote position will manage advanced security event analytics, insider threat monitoring, and case management while collaborating with IT, HR, and legal teams to enhance cybersecurity measures.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and thought leadership to identify and address insider threat issues and develop specialized support
• Conduct security investigations and manage the analysis of potential insider threat events, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Create documentation and metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness, while participating in industry peer working groups

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in information security, IT audit, or related field, with a focus on insider threat investigations
• Knowledge of DLP technologies and UEBA/UBA technologies
• Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Network+, and CEH are preferred
• Strong understanding of information security principles, industry standards, and best practices
