Key Responsibilities

• Work with insurance companies to determine the cause of denial or non-payment of claims
• Initiate actions to prepare and submit documentation needed to resolve claim issues
• Follow up until payment is received or recourse is exhausted, maintaining accurate records

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment focused on insurance billing and collections
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare insurance, including managed care and reimbursement methodologies
• Understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomy
• Ability to work from home with a suitable workspace and high-speed internet connection
