Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Texas Licensed Insurance Defense Attorney, the full-time position in Dallas, TX will manage litigation cases involving personal injury, product liability, and premises liability, overseeing matters from intake through resolution while maintaining effective communication with clients and other parties.
Key responsibilities
- Assess cases involving liability, damages, and potential exposure
- Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents while managing client reporting and case management requirements
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation or insurance defense
- Experience with personal injury, product liability, or premises liability matters
- Strong knowledge of applicable substantive and procedural law, including federal and state court rules
