Job Summary
Managing complex legal cases, the full-time Texas Licensed Insurance Defense Partner will supervise teams, advise clients, and represent them in court while contributing to the firm's strategic direction and operational needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently manage cases from initiation to trial, including pleadings, discovery, and mediation
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and represent them in court or before government agencies
- Conduct extensive legal research and draft substantial legal documents, including briefs and memos
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in general liability/insurance defense
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Texas (other states a plus)
- Experience in negotiations and mediations
- Superior analytical and research skills
