Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Intake RN I in Hematology/Oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for patients referred to the Hematology/Oncology department
• Review patient's clinical status, medical history, and referral orders to schedule consultations appropriately
• Collect outside medical records and assist patients in scheduling necessary diagnostic tests

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN program
• Valid and current Texas RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Completion of ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Fundamentals of Administration or Certificate Course within 3 months of employment
• 2+ years of clinical RN experience, with 1+ years in oncology or related fields
