Texas Licensed Intake Therapist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Pediatric Mental Health Intake Therapist (Virtual) - 1099 Independent Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students and their parent/guardian
• Collaborate with other therapists to ensure smooth transitions into services
• Provide culturally relevant counseling and maintain relationships with school personnel and families

Required Qualifications

• Licensed without restrictions as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed in Iowa for a minimum of 3 years
• Additional license in specified states or eligibility to apply for one immediately
• Willingness to be enrolled by the company with insurance companies
• Possess knowledge of treatment strategies for children's mental health needs
