Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the contract Helpdesk / IT Systems Engineer will provide remote IT support for users, devices, and collaboration tools while being available for occasional in-office assistance in Austin, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support users on Windows and Mac systems, ensuring compliance and seamless operation
- Deliver professional phone support to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the organization
- Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment provisioning and account setup, while ensuring adherence to HIPAA and security standards
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT systems support, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Mac environments, along with experience in Google Workspace and Zoom
- Hands-on experience with AV equipment and Zoom Room configurations
- Impeccable customer service skills, particularly when interacting with senior leaders
- Clear understanding of IT operations in security-conscious environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST)
