Texas Licensed Itemization Review Nurse

Job Summary

Providing analysis and summary of medical billing, the full-time Texas Licensed Itemization Review Nurse will review charges on UBIB submissions to ensure accuracy while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collects supporting data and analyzes information to determine billing accuracy
• Documents work and final conclusions in designated computer programs
• Understands surgical implants and meets departmental expectations and standards

Required qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the O.R., ICU, or E.R. as an R.N
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• Understanding of itemization review and HIPAA regulations
• Experience in medical bill auditing preferred but not mandatory
