Texas Licensed Itemization Review Nurse

Job Summary

Providing analysis of medical billing accuracy, the full-time Texas Licensed Itemization Review Nurse will review charges on UBIB submissions from medical facilities, ensuring compliance and documenting findings in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to assess the accuracy of billed charges
• Document work and conclusions in the designated computer program
• Understand and apply knowledge of surgical implants and itemization review processes

Required qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the O.R., ICU, or E.R. as an R.N
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• Experience in medical bill auditing is preferred but not mandatory
