Texas Licensed Itemization Review Nurse

Job Summary

Providing remote support, the full-time Texas Licensed Itemization Review Nurse will analyze medical billing charges for accuracy, document findings, and ensure compliance with departmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to assess the accuracy of billing charges
• Document work and conclusions in the designated computer program
• Understand and apply knowledge of surgical implants and itemization review processes

Required qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in O.R., ICU, or E.R. as an R.N
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• Familiarity with medical bill auditing preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and CERIS systems
