Job Summary
To support environmental compliance initiatives, the full-time Texas Licensed Lead Environmental Scientist will manage multi-media environmental permitting and compliance projects, provide technical guidance on stormwater and wastewater permitting, and mentor junior colleagues, with potential hybrid/remote work options available.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support for client environmental permitting and compliance programs under federal and state regulations
- Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans and wastewater discharge permit applications
- Conduct environmental compliance audits and recommend corrective actions for industrial facilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or a closely related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience focused on industrial site environmental compliance and permitting
- Demonstrated experience with stormwater and wastewater permitting and compliance
- Strong working knowledge of RCRA hazardous/non-hazardous waste regulations
- Project management experience, including budgeting and client communication
