Texas Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to serve as a strategic legal partner to the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-house legal advisor focusing on employment law, commercial contracting, M&A, and intellectual property
• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements including MSAs, SaaS agreements, and NDAs
• Support M&A transactions and manage disputes and litigation in partnership with outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• 7-10+ years of progressive legal experience, preferably in both law firm and in-house settings
• Strong experience in SaaS or technology contracting and compliance
• Knowledge of corporate governance, employment law, and data privacy requirements
• Proven ability to build scalable legal processes in a fast-paced environment
