Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Life Insurance Underwriter (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate life insurance applications to determine risk selection and disposition
• Implement underwriting policies and procedures for processing new business
• Review and assess medical records, motor vehicle records, and other relevant documentation

Required Qualifications

• Some college coursework; Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant experience
• Required certifications: LOMA 280/281, LOMA 290/291; pursuit of FLMI preferred
• Mandatory certification in LOMA Underwriting (UND) and knowledge of medical terminology
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Underwriter role or above
• Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
