Job Summary
Offering a flexible schedule, the Texas Licensed Litigation Attorney will engage in contract work remotely or onsite, focusing on various litigation tasks for top law firms and corporate clients, requiring at least 5 years of experience in state and federal courts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all stages of litigation, including document discovery and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct depositions, status conferences, and argue motions in court
- Collaborate with clients to meet and exceed their legal needs and expectations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience in state and federal courts
- Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing
- Experience in commercial, intellectual property, energy, oil and gas, or related areas is preferred
- Prior experience at an AmLaw 200 law firm is a plus
- Strong research and writing skills with excellent academic credentials
