Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Brief Writer / Litigation Drafting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to motions, appeals, petitions, and federal complaints across multiple jurisdictions
• Prepare high-quality briefs for state and federal court proceedings and collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategy
• Train and supervise a team of legal assistants in AI-assisted legal drafting while ensuring compliance with relevant procedural rules

Qualifications

• JD required; active Texas Bar License strongly preferred
• 5+ years of proven experience in legal brief writing and motion practice
• Demonstrated success in drafting appeals, petitions, and federal complaints
• Proficient in legal research and drafting tools, including LexisNexis and Westlaw
• Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising or mentoring legal staff
