Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Processor to manage residential mortgage loan files from application to funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Process residential mortgage loan files, ensuring accurate packaging and compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Submit loans for initial decision and work with customers and third parties to fulfill closing conditions
• Maintain communication with borrowers regarding loan status and collaborate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Funders

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in Mortgage Processing or a similar field
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, including regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Intermediate working knowledge of Encompass and FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines
• Proficiency in calculating income from salaried and self-employed borrowers
