Job Summary

Overseeing the facility's resident assessment process, the full-time Texas Licensed MDS Consultant will ensure timely completion of MDS assessments, facilitate weekly PDPM meetings, and provide training and support to MDS Coordinators in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide oversight on facilities' weekly PDPM meetings and track effective utilization of PDPM tools
  • Create clinical reporting systems and hold monthly workshops on PDPM and CMS-related regulations
  • Ensure accurate completion of all MDS assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary participation for new admissions
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • MDS certification preferred
  • Experience in clinical and management roles, preferably in a regional or corporate setting
  • Knowledge of CMS/OIG surveys and regulations
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
