Job Summary
Overseeing the facility's resident assessment process, the full-time Texas Licensed MDS Consultant will ensure timely completion of MDS assessments, facilitate weekly PDPM meetings, and provide training and support to MDS Coordinators in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide oversight on facilities' weekly PDPM meetings and track effective utilization of PDPM tools
- Create clinical reporting systems and hold monthly workshops on PDPM and CMS-related regulations
- Ensure accurate completion of all MDS assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary participation for new admissions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- MDS certification preferred
- Experience in clinical and management roles, preferably in a regional or corporate setting
- Knowledge of CMS/OIG surveys and regulations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
