Job Summary

To oversee facility assessments and ensure compliance with guidelines, the full-time Texas Licensed MDS Consultant will manage the resident assessment process, provide oversight on PDPM meetings, and develop training for new MDS Coordinators in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide oversight on facilities' weekly PDPM meetings and track effective utilization of PDPM tools
  • Create clinical reporting systems and hold monthly workshops on PDPM and CMS regulations
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all MDS Assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary participation for new admissions
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • MDS certification is preferred
  • Experience in clinical and management roles, preferably in a regional or corporate setting
  • Knowledge of CMS/OIG surveys and regulations
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
