Job Summary
To oversee facility assessments and ensure compliance with guidelines, the full-time Texas Licensed MDS Consultant will manage the resident assessment process, provide oversight on PDPM meetings, and develop training for new MDS Coordinators in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide oversight on facilities' weekly PDPM meetings and track effective utilization of PDPM tools
- Create clinical reporting systems and hold monthly workshops on PDPM and CMS regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all MDS Assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary participation for new admissions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- MDS certification is preferred
- Experience in clinical and management roles, preferably in a regional or corporate setting
- Knowledge of CMS/OIG surveys and regulations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
