Texas Licensed Medicaid Caseworker

Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Medicaid Caseworker, the full-time remote position will manage probate and estate functions for Medicaid beneficiaries, including case intake, claims review, asset investigation, and settlement negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with attorneys, court staff, and clients to manage case workflows effectively
• Prepare correspondence and documents to progress cases towards recovery
• Conduct follow-ups on case status and negotiate claim/lien settlements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a legal office, Medicaid office, or similar environment
• Background as a paralegal, legal assistant, or county caseworker
• Experience reviewing or interpreting real estate documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
