Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant (Biologics) to provide patient care in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate biologic therapy initiation, continuation, and monitoring for dermatology patients
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding biologic medications and complete prior authorizations
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role
• Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology
• Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software
