Job Summary

To support patient care in a remote setting, a Texas Licensed Medical Assistant will provide supportive functions under supervision, administer injectables, and perform high-level clinical procedures, depending on their level of experience and certification.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks as a Medical Assistant II
  • Serve as a resource for less experienced staff and perform high-level clinical procedures as a Medical Assistant III
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • No experience required with certification/registration or 1 year of related experience without certification/registration
  • Basic medical/nursing terminology and computer proficiency
