Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Medical Bill Review Supervisor, the remote full-time position will manage daily bill review operations, oversee a small team, and engage in complex case reviews while serving as a Subject Matter Expert and Expert Witness in legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor bill review staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to productivity standards
• Conduct hands-on reviews of complex medical bills and perform quality control audits on team output
• Provide forensic auditing and expert testimony in legal proceedings related to medical billing

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Medical Bill Review, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proven experience providing legal services and expert witness testimony regarding medical billing
• Advanced proficiency in major medical bill review software platforms
• Active industry certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required
• Texas-based expertise or extensive experience with Texas court systems and regulations is highly preferred
